What we build
Three kinds of molds, one shop.
Plastic Injection
With half of our experience with plastic injection molds, we are more than capable of completing your rapid prototype mold to your high volume class 101 production mold. Need mold modifications, mold repair or just some preventative maintenance? We can get your mold up and running and back into production!
LSR/Rubber Injection
Many shops specialize in either plastic injection molds or LSR/rubber injection molds but what makes Rancho Mold+ unique is that we have the skillset and experience of working with both. We understand the technical differences that go into manufacturing LSR/rubber molds: tear trims, tighter shutoff tolerances, vacuum, heaters, producing undercut geometries, etc)
Die Cast
With die cast being very similar to plastic injection, we are able produce die cast cavities in the same capacity. We can recommend steel options better suited for the tough environment that die cast molds produce.

CAD Design
Mold and product design in SolidWorks, toolpaths in Mastercam — from product modifications to full mold designs.

CNC Mill
Complex injection-mold cavity work on our Okuma M560-V, plus simple part production runs.

Sinker EDM
Electrode design, electrode machining and EDM cavity work on our Sodick AD35L.

Wire EDM
Complex geometry and cavity inserts with hundreds of core-pin holes held to .0002″ on our Sodick VL400Q.

Grinding
Shut-offs, slide angles and inserts ground to tight tolerances on our Mitsui 8-18. Contoured ejector and core pins too.

CNC Lathe
Small core pins to large mold cores, turned with trusted local vendors.
